Blues are their own worse enemies. We give the ball away so easily it's ridiculous. Distribution of the ball from back to front is very poor. You could see the difference as soon as Hleb came on, suddenly, we had a player who wanted the ball at his feet and wasn't afriad to run with it and have the ability to create. He set up Gardners goal and created a chance for Derbyshire that he should have buried.

These are pretty close to the reality for mine. A bit harsh on Carr and Ridge (probably 7s), and RJ MOM for me but otherwise spot on the mark.

A scrappy win but got to take it at this time of the season.

Welcome to the forum----again :LMAO: --- you've been here a month and you are really into slaggng blues.

WOW!
I look forward to your future supportive blues' posts

:LMAO:

Would you like me to revise my marking upwards so that accords with your fantasies, Alfred? Still after some reflection I'm prepared to change Bowyer's and Ferguson's scores from 2 to 1 and remind myself not to be so generous in future. They were sodding awful, the pair of 'em but if you want to pretend otherwise then be my guest.

I wouldn't agree about Bowyer, but Ferguson certainly had a poor game, especially when he was hamstrung with their additional body in midfield. He has a tendancy to retreat into the defence in situations like those and he did it again yesterday.

Matching their 451 was what changed the game. It negated their additional man in the middle, freed Gardner up to move around a little more, allowed Ferguson to be a bit more assertive without worrying about the extra man, and gave the whole team a lift.

Ferguson would get no more than a 5 for me.

I've been impressed by Parnaby the last few games. Considering he's playing out of position on the left, he's been quite solid. Great attitude too.

I think with the combination of Parnaby, Ridgewell, Johnson, Dann, Jiranek, Davies, Murphy, and Carr we'll have enough quality to always put together a decent back four next season. We must get Jiranek signed on a longer contract and hold on to Johnson.

:boohoo:

You deny Phillips' and Jeromes' work ?

That is what you are saying mate.

Hleb replaced SuperKev on 63 minutes. Craig scored!

ie
Don't play SuperKev?

What the hell is the point of rubbishing the team you claim to support?

try...JUST ONCE...to support the club,
The manager
The board
The players
The Tea Lady

To praise one player is fine - but you do not need to KNOCK our club or our players, mate.

Go support Sydney Gay JockStraps or whatever.... :banghead:

First of all, where have I denied Phillips and Jeromes work rate? I've given them an overall rating on their impact on the game as I saw it, fairly.

No, I;m not saying don't play superkev at all (again, please quote me where I've said that), I AM saying let's play Hleb if he's fit!

Have I rubbished the team? Or given a fair reflection of the game? Come on mate, you can't say we played well? I thought we started very well, but quickly went off the boil and spent a large part of the game playing poor football. I'm not attacking the team, I actually said to myself before the game I'd take a scappy 1-0 if it meant we got 3 points!

I wont rise to the rest of your truly childish comments, as anyone who knows me will tell you that anyone who questions my love or support for Blues needs their head looking at!

For ONCE try taking part in a friendly conversation, discussing your opinion about the club that we ALL love, without making comments questioning others loyalty.
